 A rose has so many different kinds of colours that is bright and lavish. A rose smells so divine it makes my room feels a lot of love. People around the world produces perfume out of them. Girls cherished them for Valentines day in remembrance of their parents love for each other. Roses are grown around the world. It has different names like: Adam’s Rose,Candyland, Beatrix Potter, Dancing Queen. Roses are well known for so many things it’s really an iconic flower of intense moments from Birthdays , Funerals , celebrations etc etc. Roses are also use in peoples names (front or back) like for e.g : Amber-Rose , RoseMarie , RoseMary , Isabella-Rose, Layla-Rose, Roseline.

Xavier's Poem on Dogs and Cats

 

Today we have been learning describing dogs and cats.By using adjectives noun and verbs.
Our Teacher Mrs Column came to our school to help with our learning .
It was very interesting and very exciting for me. While we were doing our poems , we found two patterns . The first pattern was 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 . and it was counted the opposite way.
And the second line had verbs , the third line had adjectives and the forth line had nouns.
I have learnt describing words, using adjectives , nouns and verbs directions.
The final conclusion is having FUN with words.

I'm learning Equivalent Fractions,

This Term we are learning Equivalent Fraction , A Equivalent Fraction have the same value, even though they may look different. We had to double the fractions. I learn that 1/2 = 2/4 = 4/8. We went and put it on our Google Document . It was very fun to make equivalent fractions with shapes .

As,  I turned around I saw a strange looking man. He was dragging himself to the dairy store.

His old funny pirate hat smelt like dead fish , his head had sea weed covering his hair. He had a hairy looking beard that was soaked as a wet towel. The scary man’s clothes was soggy in dirtiness.  My two eyes , mouth and nose couldn’t believe it. I was about to scream my lungs out . But i couldn't do it because i will attract the people so i had to slowly walked as a turtle. Everyone was so sacred there was tired to go away from him . The people was wedding hard out .

As, I was walking slowly ,I saw his dirty teeth while he was dragging his leg.

His tooth was bright yellow as the sun and most of the tooth was rotten with an golden teeth but most of them was broken.When I was following him i was so nervous with fright. I was going to jump like a bunny. As the strange pirate looked at me ,my heart started to race. He was rushing around fast as wild wind . But i know that he was not dragging his leg . He look at

1. You can add more batteries

to increase the power .

2. It is easy to set up needing fewer conductor (wire)

Disadvantage

1. The bulb share the power from the

batteries and are dim.

2. If one part of the circuit breaks everything will stop working.

"Hurry up" 22 May 2015

“Hurry up” shouted Mum the taxi is go to arriving soon. My mum pour a cup of cold

water on my face to wake me up. I jumped up just like a rabbit. I sprint

as fast as i could to get ready. I rush to the bathroom had quick hot shower then I brushed my teeth fast .

After that I ate my weetbix to give me lots of energy so i can run like a cheetah .

I wear my rugby uniform on. Then i put my rugby boots on. The taxi arrived just

in time to pick us up. The taxi driver drove very fast  like a lightning bulb.

The ground was wet. But, lucky the rugby game just started in time.

The other teams kicked off , i catched the ball as it drop before my eyes.

I ran furious towards the try line and everyone was cheering for me, i slide in the

cold wet puddles.

The score was a draw.

When the game finally finished we lined up and shaked the other teams hands.

Then the taxi man picked us up and drove us home slowly like a slug.

During the term we have be learning what a stem and leaf graph how it use for . The stem and leaf graph is use for solving number and As these number are in the 10’s , 20’s and 30’s the number 1 , 2 and 3 go in the stem . The second number from the leaf . And we also learn other graph , like tally graphs , picture graph and other graphs too .

Soccer at Pt England                                         7 May 2015

Yesterday we went to interschool at Pt England Reserve for soccer . We wore a green , black and white T-shirt

. Mrs Barry gave us some gears and some socks .

 We went on the Glen Innes van . Next we went with Mrs Barry , Watson , Huntah , James , Daniel , Limi , Havea ,  Ashley , Rebecca and Tuakana .

When we got their we was the first one there so we put down a mat and put our bags on it. We was excited .

There was 11 Schools at the Interschool .

But we played four school , We got 3 draws , 1 win . Our team got in the finals we played Panmure Bridge , we win and we cames third . And at our soccer games Lots of people was cheering and screaming . My Mum went and give so pizza for us , Some of us have some . Then we went back to school .
