Structure of the tooth



Enamel : Tooth enamel is one of the four major tissues that make up the tooth in humans.


Dentin :  The hard, dense calcareous material that makes up the bulk of a tooth.


Pulp: The dental pulp is the part in the center of a tooth made up of living connective tissue and cells called odontoblasts.


Crown :A crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant.


Root : The roots of teeth are embedded in the maxilla (upper jaw) or the mandible (lower jaw) and are covered by gums.
